It’s OK To Be Selfish With Self 💟🖤✨🌸
I’m such a giving person, loving, a girls girls, a person who loves to help and see everybody win !
Nothing is wrong with that at all but sometimes I feel I’m way too nice lol . I only say that because the way I treat people, or the way I am with people, I never really get that same genuine love In return. That’s with family and people I call or use to call my close friends, relationships too . Not every single person I come across, but mostly everybody lol it’s weird . Like genuine people are hard to come across Frfr !
I literally always try to see the good in everyone, because I don’t be expecting certain people to act a certain way . But they do, so I just accept everybody and everything for who they are, and if it’s not my cup of tea I simply remove myself & cut ties . 🤷🏾♀️ I had to learn to stop taking things personal and know that it’s not me, it’s them .
I say all that to say this. You most definitely have to LOVE YOURSELF FIRST! Through everything .
✨ it’s ok to be selfish with self !
🖤 it’s ok to SAY “ NO “ .
✨Do what makes you happy
🖤 make sure your intentions are always pure
✨ Don’t let what someone else do change your character.
🖤 Stop giving more than you receive
✨Set boundaries and stand on them!
🖤 U gotta take care of you 1st before you can take care of anybody else
✨Make time for the ones who make time for you
🖤 stop going out your way for people who don’t deserve it
✨trust your gut! You’re not feeling like that for no reason .
🖤 stop trying to change people, they have to want to change on their own
✨ know that when you are growing ! Everybody can’t go with you !

In today's fast-paced world, self-love and establishing personal boundaries are more crucial than ever. The notion of being 'selfish' often carries negative connotations, but in reality, putting yourself first can have numerous benefits. Learning to say 'no' is vital to maintaining emotional health. It allows you to allocate your time and energy to activities and relationships that genuinely uplift you. Setting boundaries helps create a space where you can thrive. By practicing self-care, you can better understand what your body and mind need, from rest to creative expression. This practice can involve simple routines such as mindfulness, journaling your thoughts, or engaging in hobbies that bring joy. It’s essential to surround yourself with people who reciprocate your kindness and support, fostering healthier, more meaningful connections. Furthermore, acknowledging that not everyone will grow or change at the same pace is a critical aspect of self-acceptance. Recognizing when to step back from certain relationships can save you energy and open the door to new, more fulfilling interactions. Your journey of self-love is not just for you—it impacts everyone around you positively. Prioritizing your happiness makes you a better friend, partner, and family member. Remember, taking care of yourself isn't selfish; it’s necessary for a balanced and harmonious life.
