Unplanned C-section 🤰🏾
From wanting an all natural birth to having an unplanned C-section for my first birth I was so sad, i literally cried when they told me. I felt like I had failed as a mother and a person. I sat with my doula and made a whole birth plan of things I wanted vs what I didn’t. I did end up letting them give me Pitocin for contractions to speed up and I got an epidural due to the c section. Even though things did not go as I wanted them planned I’m happy I had some sort of plan and that I did talk about what I would do if I did have to do the c section route.
Although I did not like getting a c-section we are strong mamas because that recovery process is so much crucial than I knew myself. I had to learn just like in life and motherhood things are not going to always go as planned and that’s okay. I had a healthy baby and we both made I safe through delivery so at the end of the day that’s all that matters 🩵
