Cheers to ONE WEEK on Lemon8🍋🎉
Mom and I first heard about this app on TikTok and she immediately scrambled to find a way to set up a profile for us to start building our community! The Cavalier community on IG/TT is incredibly strong, so why not bring it to Lemon 8 as well?
We have always used social media to CONNECT with others that have something in common with us, and that has allowed us to be apart of some amazing groups and meet genuine, kind hearted people.
Here is how we are approaching 🍋Lemon 8🍋 and what we have done in the last week to start connecting with others...
🍋 WE DO NOT WANT YOUR 'FOLLOW FOR A FOLLOW' - That does not help you build community and we like to see those on our Explore page that bring us joy! I mean, if you are a cute doggo, chances are we are following BUT we don't expect a follow back JUST because we have you a follow 🙄 It's 2023 and we don't need it ✋🏻
🍋 WE POST WHAT WE WANT TO POST - Every single post we put out is because we have had FUN creating it. I love posing and Mom likes taking my picture and having fun with editing (truly, she loves the edits)...even more so...this app lets you use aesthetic stickers, fonts and designs and that is what Mom is all about: creating art.
🍋 MEET AND GREET - Finding others through hashtags, the For You page, and trending topics has led us to find and engage with a real community! I have loved meeting cute doggies with their doggy mamas and we will continue to spend time meeting as many cute dogs as possible! Relating to others is our favourite part of social media and it is no different on Lemon 8
🍋 HAVE FUN - Dad makes fun of Mom for spending so much time on Lemon 8, but she is having a blast!
It's giving her Tumblr meets Pinterest meets Instagram vibes and on top of that, there is no pressure here! The happy vibes are flowing and we are riding that wave!
