My 30s gave me everything my 20s couldn’t.

If you’re scared of turning 30…

Don’t be.

At 22, I spent so much time wishing I could be someone else. I was constantly doubting myself and waiting for life to start.

Now at 33, I’ve learned that confidence doesn’t magically appear—it comes from everything you’ve survived, learned, and refused to quit.

I don’t have everything figured out. But I finally like the woman I’m becoming.

Your 30s might surprise you. 🤍

... Read moreTurning 30 can often feel like a daunting milestone, especially when looking back on the uncertainty and self-doubt experienced in your 20s. I remember the days when I wished I could be someone else, constantly waiting for life to begin. But my personal journey has taught me that the 30s are not something to fear—they are a period where all those lessons and experiences begin to take shape into a solid foundation of confidence. At 33, I’ve realized that confidence isn’t something you find overnight. It’s the result of overcoming challenges, learning from mistakes, and choosing resilience over giving up. This confidence doesn’t mean having everything figured out; rather, it means being comfortable with who you are becoming. One thing I found true in my 30s is that self-love deepens. Unlike the often surface-level self-esteem in younger years, self-love in your 30s involves embracing your flaws and strengths alike, understanding your worth beyond external validation. This mindset shift has helped me appreciate the journey rather than just the destination. For anyone scared of turning 30, here’s a truth from personal experience: your 30s are often when your true glow-up happens—not just physically, but emotionally and mentally. The fears and uncertainties that plagued your 20s transform into self-assuredness and clearer personal values. Many women discover deeper friendships, more meaningful career satisfaction, and a stronger sense of purpose during this decade. Remember, it’s okay not to have everything figured out. Like me, you may find that this new phase offers unexpected joy and growth that your 20s simply couldn’t provide. Your 30s might surprise you with gifts of strength, self-acceptance, and newfound freedom to live authentically.
