Asking for a friend!!
I know this is an odd request. But I was wondering if anyone can translate this cursive? It’s a recipe my friends mom wrote quite a while ago. I haven’t used cursive in 20 years and I can only read about 1/3 of this.

This is what I read: 2 sticks of butter 2 cups white long grain rice Melt butter add rice- cook until rice looks glossy – stir frequently Keep a kettle of water on the stove -hot for adding to rice as it cooks. When glossy -add some hot water 8 chicken bouillon cubes and one medium onion chopped. Have saffron in small pan of boiling water- add to rice-until bleached out, 3 to 4 times- keep adding water to saffron and cooking it – discard saffron (tennis ball size). Cook rice until desired consistency- adding hot water as needed – When rice done-add 2 cups sharp grated cheddar cheese.
