Exploring our national parks is a rewarding experience, and knowing when you can visit for free makes it even better! 1 Day in Arches National Park

Arches NP is about 3.5 hours from Salt Lake City, so you’re better off staying in the nearby town of Moab. Plus, you’ll also be able to visit Canyonlands NP, Dead Horse State Park & Corona Arch which are all nearby. From April - October, reservations are required for Arches National Park.
