To My Christian Sisters

I hope you’ll take a moment to read this with an open heart and at face value before responding.

As a Christian guy, I’ve noticed many Christian girl on social media expressing frustration about not finding a “Godly relationship.” But I think it’s worth asking — at what point do you girls take responsibility for where and who you’re looking at?

Many of you girl rightly hold us Christian men accountable for our actions, but when the same accountability is reflected back onto you girls, it sometimes feels like we’re told to stay quiet.

Relationships don’t work that way. They’re built on mutual growth, communication, and shared accountability — and that includes friendships too.

Speaking personally:

Whenever I’ve tried to pursue a relationship with a Christian girl, I’ve often been put in the “friend zone” or “brother zone.” and not limited to the “brother zone of Christ”. I’ve even been told that my standards are too high — even when those standards simply reflect what’s outlined in Scripture.

So my advice, offered with respect:

Take time to examine your heart and the principles you’re standing on. If those principles don’t align with the fundamental principles of the Bible — even in friendships — then it might be wise to pause and reevaluate your heart; before stepping into a relationship.
