... Read morePuppies are undeniably adorable, but their long hours of sleep is an essential part of their early life that many might overlook. Especially for breeds like German Shepherds, known for their intelligence and physical stamina, sleep plays a critical role in muscle growth, brain development, and overall health. During the first few months, puppies can sleep up to 18-20 hours a day. This might seem like a lot, but it’s completely natural because their bodies are working hard to develop their immune systems and process all the stimuli they encounter while awake. As a German Shepherd owner, understanding this helped me be more patient and ensure my pup had a quiet, comfortable place to rest. It’s also important to balance these rest periods with playtime and training sessions that stimulate their minds and build strong bonds. Over-exerting a puppy can lead to irritability and exhaustion, so watching for signs that they need a break is key. The long naps allow their nervous system to reset, which helps with learning commands and socializing effectively. Embracing the fact that your German Shepherd puppy needs this much sleep will also guard against any guilt over letting them snooze for hours. It’s truly a blessing to witness how these naps contribute to their rapid growth into healthy, energetic dogs. If you’re thinking about bringing home a German Shepherd puppy, prepare to cherish their sleep patterns as much as their playful moments.

Children are Truly a Blessing! 🌸
When God entrusts you with one of his young, his expectations for you as the parent is to lay down your childish ways and become a teacher. Your role in this life has now changed. Accept it or love them enough to step aside and allow someone else to care enough to teach what you cannot. Y

a pre-shift prayer for the healthcare girly🩺🤍
I have grown to love praying before my shifts and find that it really does set the tone for the day and comforts me so much when I experience pre-shift anxiety or worries. The Lord is so good, and healthcare work is not easy but I truly think it is a blessing that he allows us to help others for a
