I Want to Buy a Home! (Advice?)

Pictured is something I have in mind that I want. My long time goal has been to buy land an put a dwelling unit on it. A dwelling that meets zoning laws for whatever land I buy and it would be a fully hooked up dwelling unit.

My main function for buying this “house” is to have a studio being an art educator and artist! Lastly, to have a home!

I live in Maryland but plan to move back to NY and so this somewhere in that state.

So I’m making this to ask for testimonials, tips and advice on being a first time homeowner.

I’m awake getting a loan for land isn’t common at all but I need this to happen 😭❤️
