Chengdu Highlights ✨🇨🇳 - want to head back again!

sharing some of my Chengdu highlights, there’s really so much to shop and explore ✨🫶🏻 the shopping at IFS and Chunxi Road can really take up more than a day!!!

For food and drinks, I absolutely love Lishanshan & Xiao Long Kan hotpot!!! 😚 have to head back to try more of their drinks & bbt shops!!! psst… the cute panda cup with my matcha drink can be brought back!!! super adorable & I have to say the quality of the cup is pretty good!

The main highlight of this trip had to be the experience at Shu Yan Fu ❤️ definitely a must go!!!!!!! Had so much fun dressing up and taking photos & the food was amazing 🥰

... Read moreDuring my time in Chengdu, I realized that the IFS Mall is more than just a shopping destination—it’s also a panda lover’s paradise. The iconic panda sculpture at level 7 makes for a perfect photo spot and truly captures the city's love for its symbolic animal. If you’re visiting, don’t miss out on shopping around the panda-themed stores, which offer adorable memorabilia including panda cups that are both cute and well-crafted. Foodies will be thrilled to know that Chengdu’s hotpot scene is vibrant and packed with bold flavors. Lishanshan and Xiao Long Kan are standout spots where the mala broth really challenged my taste buds! Plus, there’s an array of drinks and bubble tea shops around the city that offer creative and refreshing treats, perfect for a casual outing. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting Shu Yan Fu—a place that combines cultural experience with fun. Dressing up in traditional attire and snapping photos there was a unique way to immerse myself in regional heritage. The local cuisine served there was a delicious finale to my day. If you have more time, exploring Chunxi Road is a must as it offers bustling shopping streets and countless opportunities to discover trendy shops and local products. Chengdu’s mix of modern shopping and cultural richness makes it an unforgettable travel destination.

Sichuan used to terrify me, but I’m in love now.
Love the efficiency, the technology, the food!! Saw a recommendation for 马王子’s roast goose and decided to give it a shot. But it wasn’t the goose that made me fall in love. It was the rest of the dishes that changed my brain chemistry. Mala doesn’t have to be either just spicy or numbing

This was one of those meals that stays with you long after you leave the table. From the first dish to the last bite, everything felt comforting, bold, and cooked with real confidence. Not flashy for the sake of it — just genuinely good Sichuan food done right. My absolute favorites were the 口水鸡

🇨🇳 What to do in Chengdu? Part 1
Part 1 Chengdu is the kind of city that teaches you the art of balance. People here work hard and play harder. When they’re not working, they’re sipping tea or playing mahjong, and living life at a slower pace. Sichuan guys have this reputation for treating women really well 😉 Chengdu is
