Brunch Bliss 🍳🥂
Started my day with a delightful brunch at In Common NYC - A Breakfast & Brunch Restaurant . The avocado toast and mimosas were the perfect kickstart!
Movie Time 🎬🍿
Caught the new Bad Boys movie at AMC 34th Street 14 . Action-packed and hilarious. So much nostalgia! Shoutout to Reggie lol (spoiler) – totally worth it!
Window Shopping 🛍️👗
Strolled through Macy's , soaking in the summer vibes and eyeing all the fabulous displays. Also, did a little reading of Akata Woman at Madison Square Park w/ an ice chai latte to keep me going!
Book Signing Event 📖🖋️
The highlight of my day: attending the book signing by Tomi Adeyemi at Barnes & Noble Meeting my favorite author for a second time was a dream come true. Their new book is a masterpiece! Every time her books provide relief and support during the most uncertain times of my life. I’m so happy I got to say that to her face to face. Surprisingly, I also got to meet her brother Tobi Lou (a great artist), her sister, Toni AND her mother, who also gave me words of encouragement and affirmations🥹🤎
