REAL TALKS 🫶

We always hear the saying “Be Yourself”. Although I still find this saying too broad to take in for someone who may be wanting to improve themselves. So for this reason, I want to tackle a similar idea to “Be Yourself” but in a different perspective: Being Enough and What is that like?

Often, we stay blending in and being acceptable and going above and beyond to be ourself. Well, what I’m trying to say is that it’s important to know where your limits stand. How much is too much or too little when it comes to YOURSELF.

For me, identifying what it means to “Be and Feel Enough” encouraged me to be myself and choose the people I let in my life.

… that’s just my 2cents.

What’s YOUR take on “being and feeling enough”?

Often, society pressures us to constantly prove ourselves, pushing beyond what feels natural or comfortable. But understanding what is enough for you personally means setting healthy boundaries that honor your mental and emotional well-being. This mindset shift allowed me to stop trying to blend in or seek excessive approval. Instead, I started focusing on what truly resonates with me—values, goals, and people who support my authentic self. It’s not about being perfect or exceeding expectations but about being genuine and satisfied with who you are. One important aspect I discovered is learning to say no without guilt and recognizing when giving too much of yourself drains your energy rather than enriches your life. Feeling enough means you don’t need constant validation; your worth isn’t tied to how much you do or how others perceive you. Moreover, this approach helps create healthier relationships. When you feel enough, you naturally attract people who appreciate your true self, rather than a persona aimed at pleasing everyone. It’s a powerful cycle of giving and receiving advice, support, and love that aligns with your values. Ultimately, redefining what it means to be enough is an ongoing process, and it looks different for everyone. Reflecting on your personal limits and what truly matters to you can lead to a more meaningful and fulfilling life, where being yourself is not a vague concept but a confident, clear choice.
