Stay at Home chef👩🏻🍳✨
I love cooking it makes me happy when people enjoy my food! I never got into it till 2 years ago but to be fair I was 20 Two years ago😂. But I’ve never thought to record my meals. I really should because even when I use a recipe I always change up a couple of things then forget what I did when I remake it. My memory isn’t that good if you can’t tell already! And yes I do put mayonnaise in my mash I didn’t know that wasn’t a thing, so let me know if you do it or if you at least have heard of it?! And let me know if you try this out or if inspired you to make something today?! Duhhhh!!!
📒Note:This meal fed 3 with mash potatoes left over and I got the veggies from Birds Eye they’re oven roasted Brussels sprouts and carrots recommended 100%

Hey everyone! You know, there's nothing quite like the feeling of someone genuinely enjoying a meal you've cooked from scratch. As a 'home chef' (even though I only really got into it properly a couple of years ago!), that's what makes all the effort worth it for me. I used to think cooking was complicated, but I've discovered so many ways to make it both delicious and surprisingly simple, especially for busy weeknights or when you're just looking for those 'chef inspired recipes' that don't actually require a culinary degree! One of my favorite types of meals has to be the 'oven ready meals' because they're such a lifesaver. Seriously, minimal prep, pop it in the oven, and you're good to go. It's perfect for when I need 'dinner ideas for family' but don't have a ton of time. Think sheet pan dinners with chicken and veggies, or a hearty lasagna you can assemble ahead of time. Or even better, a '1 pot meal' that cuts down on washing up! I've been experimenting with some amazing pasta dishes cooked right in one pot – it’s a game-changer for speed and cleanup. And speaking of veggies, I totally get why 'how to get Brussels sprouts crispy' is such a popular search! My secret? High heat and a good quality frozen option like the Birds Eye oven-roasted Brussels sprouts and carrots I mentioned. Just a little olive oil, salt, pepper, and maybe some garlic powder, and they come out perfectly caramelized and tender-crisp every single time. They're fantastic with practically anything, but if you're wondering 'what vegetable goes well with lamb chops for dinner,' these roasted beauties are definitely a winner. I also love throwing in some 'healthy recipes with peppers and onions' into my meals, whether it's a quick stir-fry or part of a baked chicken dish. They add so much flavor and color! Sometimes, I get asked about 'chef inspired recipes,' and honestly, for me, it's about taking a basic recipe and adding my own personal 'hack.' That's where the fun comes in! Like my infamous mayonnaise in mashed potatoes – I know it sounds weird to some, but trust me, it makes them incredibly creamy and rich. It’s one of those little tweaks I do that always makes people say, 'Wow, what's in this?' And it's so easy to do with any recipe you find. Don't be afraid to experiment a little, even if it's just adding a different herb or spice. For those looking for 'stay at home recipes' that truly feel like 'good homemade food,' my biggest tip is to embrace cooking as a joyful process. It doesn't have to be 'hard dishes to cook.' Start with simple, comforting meals, listen to your family's preferences, and slowly build your repertoire. Whether it's a casual weeknight dinner or even dreaming up 'romantic dinner at home ideas,' the goal is to 'enjoy' the process and the delicious outcome. Happy cooking!
