"Body Scan" technique stress-off switch. Reset the body to 100% deep sleep. 💤
Anyone with a head to a pillow but the brain is busy running. The body is tight from working all day? 🙋🏻♂️ Today, share the "Body Scan" technique or a very easy-to-follow body scan. It only takes 5-10 minutes in bed to help the body relax and sleep more comfortably.
💡 Heart: "Breath = Command Switch"
Before starting the scan, remember these two simple rules:
🌬 Breathe in = Perceive: Send the feeling to the organ, notice where it is tense, tense, or painful. Just "know." Don't get frustrated.
💨 Exhale = Letting Go: Imagine that the breath blows away the evaporating tension, instructing the muscles there to "throw down" and melt to the bed.
👇🏻 Let's start scanning! (Chase from head to toe)
1.Head and face (stress embodiment) 💆🏻♂️
Breathe in. Perceive the tension in the forehead, between the eyebrows, jaws.
Exhale, let the forehead loosen, stop frowning, loosen the jaws, do not clench the teeth.
2. Neck, shoulders, shoulders (heavy load bearing point) 🎒
Breathe in. Feel the tension lump in the shoulder.
Exhale. Allow both shoulders to leave weight sunk deep against the mattress. Let go of the heaviness.
3. Arms, hands and fingertips 🤲🏻
Breathe in. Chase the feeling along the arm to the palm.
Exhale, loosen the grip of hands, let the fingers relax, no more picks and handles today.
4. Chest and abdomen. 🫁
Breathe in. Recognize the ribs and belly that inflate out.
Exhale, let the belly collapse softly, loosen the awkwardness in the chest, throw it all away.
5. Back plate, hip, waist, 🛌
Breathe in. Send the feeling to the background attached to the ground.
Exhale, let the back muscles stick together, dissolve the tension with the cushion that supports us.
6. Leg and toe. 🦶🏻
Breathe in, chase down the thighs, calves, to the soles of the feet.
Exhale. Throw the weight of both legs down completely. Let the forefoot fall naturally.
✨ Tips for newbies:
Slowly, slowly, at one point at a time, if done, "mind" to think about other things...It's okay! Smile softly to yourself and bring your feelings back to your breath and body.
Tonight, before going to bed, try to follow. I assure you that waking up will definitely feel fresher and lighter. Who tried it? Comment can tell! 👇🏻✨
