Books I read in April 💐☔️🐰

1 day agoEdited to

... Read moreApril was an exciting month for my reading journey, as I explored a mix of genres that kept me both entertained and emotionally invested. One standout was the YA book by Alesca Kayser and Nissa Renzo. Although it felt like a palate cleanser, it still managed to deliver moments that touched my heart deeply. I appreciate books that offer good vibes alongside decent writing and a strong plot, and this one fit the bill well enough to earn a solid rating from me. I also dove headfirst into the Midnight Strike series by E. Salvador, which was a wild ride. The story’s raw themes and compelling relationships kept me hooked despite some flaws I noticed. Daniel and Josefine’s dynamic made the journey worthwhile, and I found myself rating it among my top reads for its emotional depth. One interesting experience was reading the Zodiac Academy books by Peckham Valenti. I jumped into this universe out of order, which is something I rarely do but actually enjoyed. The world-building was extensive, and the story gave me strong Wattpad vibes that matched my taste. "The Awakening" surprised me with its unexpected ending, keeping me eager to continue the series. Danielle Lori’s work also caught my attention this month. Though some plot points felt rushed—like the intense gas station scene with Nico and Elena—I couldn’t stop reading. The characters Christian and Allister became unforgettable, and their stories kept me completely absorbed from start to finish. For anyone looking to refresh their spring bookshelf, I highly recommend mixing up your reading list with both YA contemporary and fantasy series. Exploring new worlds like Zodiac Academy or emotional journeys like Midnight Strike offers a perfect balance of escapism and connection. Also, don’t hesitate to share your favorite reads—I love discovering hidden gems for my next month’s lineup! What’s on your spring reading list?
