If you’ve been keeping up with my music you know that with my latest release, ‘CYNiCAL TRiALS’ — I had found myself in a dark headspace.. it led to a looming depression. This time around, positive thinking wasn’t enough to overcome it. My wife encouraged me to seek therapy, and the Lord used it to help me see things differently. To see the world as He sees it.

It’s been a wild ride.. but I am thankful for the support and love from my family. If I’m honest, I wasn’t even planning on creating new music any time soon. But, I feel God’s presence on it — I’m stoked he’s still giving me words to jot down and melodies to sing. This song is called, ‘Savior Complex’ and I hope to share it with you soon. As artists, we often pour our emotions into our creations, but sometimes, the journey can become overwhelming. Music is a powerful tool for self-expression, but it can also mirror our internal struggles. For many, like myself, navigating mental health challenges such as depression can feel isolating. It’s crucial to acknowledge these feelings and seek help when needed. My experience with therapy has shown me the importance of self-care and support from loved ones. Embracing a positive mindset can be transformative, but it’s also essential to allow ourselves to process emotions authentically. Not only does therapy provide coping strategies, but it also fosters a deeper understanding of ourselves and the world around us. My faith has been a cornerstone in this journey, shaping my outlook and giving me strength. The creation of 'Savior Complex' marks a new chapter where I channel my experiences into music that resonates with others. I believe that through sharing our stories, we cultivate community and compassion, reminding us that we are not alone. As I prepare for the release of this song, I hope that the message within it inspires hope and healing for anyone going through similar challenges. Let's embrace the journey together!
