Who doesn’t love ice cream on a hot summer day, I know I do🙋🏽‍♀️ My family and I were recently gifted an ice cream maker a few months ago, I knew we had to use it when I was craving some pistachio ice cream💚🍨

With simple ingredients and knowledge on ice cream I think this is a good recipe for a beginner like me✨

After making my first batch of homemade pistachio ice cream, I realized just how versatile this amazing nut can be! While my ice cream maker worked wonders for that creamy, thick texture, I know not everyone has one. So, I experimented a bit, and guess what? You can totally make delicious no-churn pistachio ice cream too! For a quick freezer method, simply whip some heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold in sweetened condensed milk and your delightful pistachio paste (which you made after all that 'blend blend blend' of de-shelled pistachios!). Freeze it in an 'airtight container' for a few hours, and voilà – a velvety treat without any special equipment! But the fun doesn't stop there! That rich pistachio paste we start with can be a secret weapon in your kitchen. Ever thought about a light and airy pistachio mousse? Simply lighten the paste with a bit of whipped cream or egg whites for an elegant dessert. Or how about a gourmet touch to your breakfast? Mix some paste with a little butter and sugar for a luscious pistachio filling for croissants – it’s a game-changer that will make your mornings feel like a trip to a Parisian bakery! And for those who love a good drizzle, thin out some of that paste with a dash of milk and a sweetener, and you have an incredible homemade pistachio sauce for pancakes, cakes, or even a fancy pistachio sweet cream for your coffee. It's surprisingly simple to create from the 'simple cream mixture' base. If you’re a fan of a refreshing drink, a pistachio milkshake is a must-try – just blend a few scoops of your homemade ice cream with milk, and maybe an extra spoonful of the paste for an intense flavor.
