... Read moreDeciding to have a dog is a significant step that many of us dream about at some point. For me, the desire to have a dog stems from the companionship and unconditional love that these animals offer. Dogs have a unique ability to lift our spirits, provide comfort during tough times, and motivate us to live a more active lifestyle. From personal experience, owning a dog requires commitment, patience, and a lot of time dedicated to care. It’s important to consider not just the joys but also the responsibilities, such as regular feeding, grooming, exercise, and veterinary visits. Understanding these realities helps ensure a happy and healthy life for both the dog and its owner. There is also a strong emotional element to having a dog. For many, including myself, a dog is a loving friend who provides companionship even on the loneliest days. The bond formed through daily interactions and shared moments creates a unique connection that enriches life. When I think about having a dog, I also reflect on the choices of breed, energy levels, and temperament to find the perfect match for my lifestyle. This thoughtful approach is essential to foster a positive environment where both you and the dog can thrive. In summary, the desire to have a dog is about more than just ownership; it’s about building a relationship filled with love, trust, and mutual care. For anyone considering this journey, it’s important to be well-prepared and open to the lasting joy a dog can bring into your life.

10/16/24 at 12pm noon he will get his surgery
He had to be postponed due to lack of a big enough OR available for him but he will be getting his surgery at noon today, I’m mentally preparing myself for this 16-18 hour surgery so I don’t go crazy with anxiety and overthinking and thank you for all the love and prayers I’m getting from everyone
