Artist Alley@BOBC 7
I had a fun weekend at Battle of BC 7 in Vancouver! We set up the booth and watched fighting games 😎 I got to meet lots of very nice people, artists, and do some trades! A customer bought my mini CD charm and got it signed by a popular player ( ˶°ㅁ°) !! I also did the events official merch this year and it’s always so much fun seeing people walking around in the shirts I designed 🥰 #artistalley #fightinggamecommunity #vancouver
Participating in Artist Alley at events like Battle of BC 7 is an excellent opportunity to connect with fellow artists and gaming enthusiasts. One thing I always look forward to is the excitement around trades—exchanging unique items like enamel pins or charms helps build community ties and share creative ideas. Also, designing official event merchandise adds a special layer of pride. It’s fulfilling to see participants proudly wear apparel you created, which enhances the event atmosphere and promotes the artist alley scene. For anyone considering joining an artist alley or attending such gaming events, I recommend preparing unique and eye-catching items that showcase your style. Engaging with visitors by sharing stories behind your pieces or offering customizations can greatly enrich their experience. Plus, networking with other artists can open doors to collaborations and future opportunities. Lastly, if you’re attending gaming events, don’t just focus on selling—take time to enjoy the community, watch competitions, and gain inspiration from fellow creatives. It’s these moments that make the event memorable and foster long-lasting connections.
