Be Honest.. Were You REALLY Feeling S22?

I didn’t want to be on the “Grey’s needs to end train” ALAS… here I am 🚂

Today is the day I would watch Grey’s Anatomy and I am not even upset that I can’t.

Unbeknownst to me, until I watched the full episode, two weeks ago - it was the mid season finale.

It left on some cliffhangers, as usual, but the cliffhangers weren’t interesting enough for me to be excited for the rest of the season to drop In January.

I think it’s time to wrap things up.

I have no idea how they are going to do that though🤔

The red head doctor being out in a mobile home like thing McDreamy was from several years/seasons prior is giving… we ran out of idea so here is a nice homage to a character everyone used love before we killed him off due to contract disputes 🙃

I used to be on team “don’t end the show yet” not I am veering in the other direction.. fast!

How were you feeling watching this new season??

... Read moreWatching Grey’s Anatomy’s mid-season finale this year really made me think about how long the series has been around and whether it's still capturing the magic it once did. The episode ended with cliffhangers, but frankly, they didn’t spark much excitement for the upcoming episodes. It feels like the show might be struggling to keep its storyline fresh and compelling, as seen with the recent scenes like the redhead doctor living in a mobile home reminiscent of McDreamy’s storyline from earlier seasons—a nostalgic nod rather than an innovative plot. Many fans feel the series has lost some of its pulse over time, a sentiment echoed across social media and forums. The mention of “Grey’s needs to end” has been circulating, highlighting how some viewers think the show has run its course. The image text “Time to Call Time of Death!” humorously captures this mood. However, there’s also appreciation for the show’s long run and its impact on medical drama television. The challenges in maintaining creativity after so many seasons are understandable, and with contract disputes leading to iconic character exits, the writers face tough choices. This season’s direction makes one wonder how they’ll eventually wrap up the storyline in a satisfying way. For those watching on Hulu, the platform continues to offer easy access to the show, keeping the fanbase engaged despite mixed feelings about the current season. Whether you’re team ’don’t end it yet’ or leaning towards ’it’s time to wrap up,’ the conversation is heating up, and it’s clear Grey’s Anatomy still holds a special place in many hearts—even if the enthusiasm is waning. Have you been following Season 22? What are your thoughts on the current plot twists and character developments? Share your feelings and join the ongoing discussion about the future of this landmark medical drama.

I honestly feel like that should’ve ended once Derek died or when Meredith and Nick got together in Boston. Now I feel like they are trying a drag out storyline that is not there anymore. I’m just all confused with Season 22. Really the only reason I’m still watching bc I wanted to see how the new cast are and for Richard, Miranda, Amelia, Jo and Link.

I really want it to continue but the story line doesn’t have me yearning for next week’s episode like it used to 🥺
