Motivated to practice before the next dance sess🫡
As many dancers and dance enthusiasts in Singapore have experienced, returning to dance studios after the COVID-19 break can be a mix of excitement and challenge. The gradual reopening of studios comes with new health protocols and a cautious yet hopeful atmosphere. Personally, I found the first session a bit awkward since muscle memory needed refreshing, but the energy and support from fellow dancers boosted my confidence. Dance studios in Singapore have been proactive in ensuring safety, including spaced-out class schedules, sanitization, and mask guidelines where possible. Embracing these changes helped me feel safe while enjoying the social and physical benefits of dancing again. To anyone hesitant about returning, my tip is to take it slow and focus on enjoying the movements rather than perfecting every step immediately. The community spirit and passion in dance studios make post-COVID recovery a motivating journey. Plus, fresh choreography keeps things exciting and fuels the desire to practice more before the next session. On a fun note, the phrase "Like that BABY MONSTER" popped up in my session, capturing some playful moments which remind me why I love dancing so much. The road to recovery in dance might have its bumps, but it’s also full of joy and connection.
