My unpopular Opinions: Teen Wolf Editio n
**Disclaimer** At the end of the day guys this will be my personal opinion. Keyword Opinion so take it or leave it. Doesn’t mean you can’t express how you may disagree or agree with me in the comments but let’s not argue.!!! Also I’ve only watch seasons 1-4a
1.) okay so season 1 had me hooked I was in literal love except for Alison. I don’t know what it was but I truly did not like her at all.
2.) Lydia also made me so upset because she kept dodging stiles like he was this terrible, disgusting guy when really she was dating that specific person all along 🤦🏽♀️. She also dated everybody but him, like that pissed me off so bad. And when stiles finally gets a girl she wants to act all weird 🙄. She only liked him when it was convenient to her or her situation, she was selfish. Other than being made smart and a banshee . She really lacked excitement for me.
3.) Back to Alison, she pissed me off so bad like all of season 3. And as you guys know I love it when a character I don’t like dies and this moment was no different. Like Scott and her dad would literally tell her not to do something and she would do it anyways! Tbh you can’t blame her death on nobody but herself because her dad literally told her not to come and she thought she was freaking Superman and went anyways being reckless!! Also in season 3 they tried to give a redemption arc turning her into a “leader” but really she was inexperienced warrior giving out instructions to anyone who listened. Everybody would say her and Scott’s relationship was so cute and blah blah blah but really all I saw was a selfish girl taking advantage of this guy and making him feel bad about who he is 🤷🏽♀️🙄. And every-time she broke up with Scott it was over some stuff her family played the main part in and she made an excuse every-time. Also girl getting with Issac and knowing he lives In the same house as Scott is just weird bro. Just dirty 😂
4.) let’s talked about Kira. Okay now this was my girl!!!! I literally loveddd her character. She accepted Scott for who he was and she never made him feel bad about it unlike you know who. In my opinion Kira was the strongest out of all of them and I believe that because the writers didn’t know what to do with her character they made her sacrifice herself for him 🤦🏽♀️. Also the fact that she was kind and non-toxic says a lot bro and that was a Healthy keyword healthy relationship her and Scott had if I do say so myself. And bro Kira saved everybody’s butt a lot of the times like bffr without her it probably would’ve been way harder than it was. I just hate she got written out with no closure.
5.) Scott… 🤦🏽♀️ now hear me out. How was this your show and you’re not the main character 😂. Bro was too naive sometimes and he made some of the dumbest decisions 😂. I feel like Scott wasn’t a bad friend but he wasn’t a great one either. Like stiles was always there for him and it seemed like Scott was always up Alison ass bro and that pissed me off bad. But him getting with Malia was just weird and I didn’t even get that far but 🙄. But other than that I’m good on Scott
6.) Y’all let’s give it up for my baby Dylan O’brien aka stiles. There’s nothing bad I can say about this man. Nothing but praises for his acting as stiles and the nogitsune aka Void stiles. 😘 he was the backbone for literally the whole entirety of the show just being there for people. Also him and Derek’s relationship was so cute it gave annoying siblings and how he always hated Scott’s dad 😂. And an honorable mention: his dad was also one of the best guys like I loved him too just the whole family at this point!!!

While she eventually became a powerful Banshee and a crucial ally, her early seasons' trajectory with Stiles truly tested my patience. It felt like a classic trope where the popular girl only sees the "nerdy" guy when it's convenient, leading to so many "what ifs" for fans shipping Stydia early on. It makes you wonder how different the show's dynamics would have been if she'd acknowledged his devotion sooner. But let's be real, the heart of Teen Wolf for many, including me, was Stiles Stilinski. Dylan O'Brien’s portrayal was just phenomenal, wasn't it? He wasn't just the comic relief; he was the emotional anchor, the strategic mind, and the loyal best friend everyone deserved. Thinking about his iconic blue Jeep and all the scrapes he got into, always trying to help Scott and the pack – it's hard to find anyone who genuinely dislikes him. Even when he became Void Stiles, Dylan delivered a performance that still gives me chills. He truly was the backbone, and his selflessness often overshadowed Scott’s own struggles, even in their Beacon Hills lacrosse uniforms days. Speaking of Scott, Tyler Posey did a great job, but his character sometimes felt like he was walking in circles, especially when it came to major decisions. His "good intentions" often led to more problems, a point that often divides the fandom. Some see it as his journey of growth, while others, like me, wished for a more decisive and less naive Alpha. And then there’s Kira, played by the amazing Arden Cho. Her character was a breath of fresh air! She accepted Scott for who he was without judgment, and her Kitsune powers were genuinely exciting to watch. Her fighting style and unwavering loyalty made her a formidable force. It’s a common "unpopular opinion" (or maybe it's popular now?) that her exit from the show was rushed and left too many questions unanswered. She deserved a proper send-off and more development. I mean, she saved the pack countless times! Her departure felt like a missed opportunity to explore more of her unique supernatural heritage. Even beyond the main love interests, discussions about other characters like Derek Hale's evolving role or Isaac Lahey's tragic but compelling journey add so much richness to the Teen Wolf fandom experience. Everyone has their favorite secondary characters or relationships they wish had more screen time. That's the beauty of a show with such a dedicated following – there are endless debates, theories, and "what ifs" that keep the spirit of Beacon Hills alive! It's a testament to the show's impact that even years later, we're still passionately dissecting every character and plot twist.
