Science class looks a little different at our house today! I decided to teach the kids a hands on lesson about the power of our own bodies, and naturally, Mom volunteered as the guinea pig. We actually harvested these "healing cells" “Stem cell “ and honestly, the science behind it is just mind blowing.
This liquid gold is capable of some incredible things. It can literally regrow jawbone, which is a game changer for implants or trauma recovery, repair damaged nerves, and regenerate living tissues. It’s wild to think that scientists are even exploring how this could treat things like heart disease, diabetes, and brain health issues like Parkinson's.
It’s amazing to teach the kids that this tech isn't just for us, either. We can actually use this for our animals as well! You can apply it to open wounds to help them heal themselves with a much lower risk of infection.
