Hair oiling routine / Hair health 🫶🏼

My hair has transformed sooo much over the years. Along with hair oiling, here are some other things that have made my hair healthier:

🫧 NO HEAT: Put as little heat on your hair as possible. I rarely ever put heat on my hair, and my curl pattern has finally come back!

🫧 Scalp scrub: This will clear away any build up on your scalp and stimulates the hair follicules for hair growth. It also feels so clean and refreshing to clear away the build up.

🫧 Vitamins: Internal health plays such an important role in hair health. Some of the vitamins I take are fish oil and biotin.

🫧 Washing my hair once or twice a week: I have thick curly hair, so my hair is naturally on the dryer side. Washing my hair once or twice a week is best for my hair type and keeps my hair from getting too dry.

🫧 Microfiber towel: Using a microfiber towel reduces frizziness and breakage.

🫧 Cold showers: I lovee taking hot showers, but rinsing your hair in cold water will make it super shiny and smooth.

🫧 Hair masks: Every week before I wash my hair, I put in a protein hair mask for 30-60 min. I have noticed a huge difference adding this to my weekly hair care routine. Sometimes if I don’t have time, I will put a mask on in the shower.

🫧 Silk pillowcases: The silk prevents friction which can cause breakage. It also helps to retain moisture.
