Post op gallbladder removal surgery.
Day 1 and 2 post op. I’m just posting as a personal blog. So no judgement or hate please. I recently had my gallbladder removed and just want to post my journey of recovery. I’m pretty sore today still and swollen. I’ve been able to eat and drink good. I’m working on weaning myself off the pain meds today. I had my gallbladder removed 6/20/25. We will keep hoping and praying for a nice recovery. 🙏❤️🩹 #gallbladderremoval #recoveryjourney
Gallbladder removal surgery, or cholecystectomy, is a common procedure recommended for various gallbladder disorders, including gallstones and inflammation. Recovery time varies, but understanding what to expect can ease your journey. The first few days post-surgery often involve discomfort, swelling, and adjustments in dietary habits. Patients may experience temporary soreness, making pain management crucial. Staying hydrated and gradually reintroducing foods can aid recovery. It's advisable to follow-up with your doctor during recovery to ensure everything is healing properly. Remember to be gentle with yourself, allow for adequate rest, and don’t hesitate to reach out for support through forums or online communities about gallbladder issues. Incorporating light activity, as advised by your physician, will help in regaining strength over time. Keep track of any symptoms and celebrate small milestones as you continue on this recovery path. Your health and wellness journey matters!
