Normalize not being rude to beginners.

Especially if they just started. There’s this girl (user mushroom_1739) that in a way made fun of a beginner nail artist. Her comment stated, “girl has all the tools and it stills look bad 😂” like it was funny. She even liked her own comment. It was pathetic. It’s so obvious she is a kid, but why hate when you can’t do better than the person you hate on? It’s not cute, or funny. It’s bringing people down. Do you feel this way too? Or am I being dramatic?

2025/10/18 Edited to

... Read moreStarting out in any creative field, such as nail art, can be intimidating and challenging. Many beginners put effort into practicing and investing in tools but may not achieve professional results immediately. It’s crucial for communities to foster an environment where newcomers feel supported rather than ridiculed. When we see comments like “girl has all the tools and it still looks bad 😂,” it highlights a toxic mindset that discourages learning and experimentation. Such remarks not only hurt morale but also create barriers to growth. Instead, encouraging words or constructive feedback help beginners improve their skills and build confidence. The phrase captured from the image "just want to bring awareness that yall shouldn't make fun of nail artists that just started" shows the importance of empathy in online communities. Everyone was a beginner once, and making fun of those in early stages does nothing but spread negativity. Building a positive and supportive culture in nail art communities or any creative spaces benefits everyone involved. When newcomers feel safe to share their progress without fear of harsh judgment, they are more likely to continue practicing, learning, and eventually excel. If you’re part of an online group or social media platform focused on creative arts, consider how your comments impact others. Offering encouragement or gentle guidance can create a welcoming space that inspires talent rather than shaming it. Embracing kindness helps us all grow stronger and enjoy the journey, whether as beginners or experienced artists.

Toxic behaviors like gossiping and being passive-aggressive are seen as normal by society because people often witness them and might even use them without much thought. Sometimes, individuals do these things because they've observed others doing it or because they're unsure how else to han
