why homemaking isn’t oppression, it’s obedience
the world will always twist God’s design.
they want to make you believe that serving your future husband or creating a peaceful home means you’re giving up power.
but the truth is… biblical homemaking is power.
it’s the kind of quiet, Spirit-filled strength that builds nations and generations.
i don’t have to reject my femininity to feel valuable.
i honor God with my gentleness, my nurturing, my homemaking heart.
because i know that obedience is never oppression when it’s done for the glory of God. 🕊️

The proverbs 31 woman is both a homemaker and an entrepreneur. The world isn’t criticizing homemaking and it’s theologically immature to reduce it to that. The world is criticizing oppression of women, their right to speak, their right to education, their right to live free, their right to live safely without harm from men. There’s nothing wrong with homemaking. There is something wrong with being forced to live as a homemaker in a society that doesn’t penalize men who abandon homes and families, leaving women without the skills or resources to survive.
