Fresh Look vs Style Change — what’s right for you?

What’s the difference?

✨ Fresh Look (2.5–3h) — a complete reset.

We start with a clean base and I’ll build your entire look from scratch — skin prep, base, colours, contour, everything. This applies to your second fresh look as well: makeup fully removed, face cleansed, and we begin again.

Hair doesn’t need to be washed, but I’ll take everything down and restyle it entirely.

New vibe. A full transformation.

✨ Style Change (~1h) — more of a refined refresh.

We keep your existing base and I’ll do selective and strategic touch-ups (concealer, blush, lipstick top-up, etc.) while adjusting the overall look.

Hair will be restyled into a different design (if you need), but it’s a quicker switch — not a full redo.

Same base, different mood.

So it really depends on what you need + how much time we have. :)

If you’re going from solemnisation to dinner and want a full shift + you have enough time catered for the session, go fresh. If you just need a vibe change, style change is perfect.

A Fresh Look is ideal when you have enough time between events — for example, moving from a solemnisation ceremony to a dinner reception. The benefit here is a complete transformation: your makeup artist removes all previous makeup, cleanses the skin, and rebuilds your look from the ground up. This not only rejuvenates your appearance but also allows experimentation with new colors, contouring styles, and even hair designs. I remember a bride I worked with who felt reborn after her Fresh Look session; she said it boosted her energy and excitement for the evening event tremendously. On the other hand, a Style Change is perfect when time is limited but you want to refresh your appearance. Since the base makeup remains untouched, it focuses on strategic touch-ups such as adding blush, concealer, or updating lipstick, paired with a quicker hair restyle. This approach provides a polished but subtly different mood, ideal for short breaks between events or a fast vibe shift. Personally, for casual wedding guests or bridesmaids, I’ve recommended this option multiple times as it maintains a consistent look but adds a fresh dose of confidence. Understanding your needs and timing on the wedding day will help you select the best approach. If you want to feel like an entirely new version of yourself with a bold change, Fresh Look is the way to go. But if you’re aiming to switch up your style without starting from scratch, a Style Change is efficient and effective. Moreover, discussing your preferences and schedule with your makeup artist ahead of time helps in planning and ensures you receive the right service. Also, consider your comfort—having a makeup reset might give you a moment of relaxation and pampering, which can be valuable amid the busy event. For brides-to-be, especially those in Singapore weddings or upcoming 2026 celebrations, these options offer flexibility to tailor your look perfectly. Whichever you choose, make sure it reflects your personality and allows you to enjoy the day feeling your absolute best.

Which Contemporary Style Fits You Best?
Before we begin, what exactly 𝙞𝙨 contemporary interior design? 🤔 It’s one of those styles that people often mix up with “modern” - but they’re not quite the same! While modern design comes from early 20th-century styles, contemporary design is all about what’s trending right now. It’s fresh,

Advice from grooms to look 10/10
This is one of those things people don’t talk about enough. Grooming isn’t about looking “extra,” it’s about looking like your best, most well-rested self. The kind of details you don’t notice in the mirror, but absolutely show up in close-ups, candid moments, and all the in-between shots. A li
