Fresh Look vs Style Change — what’s right for you?

What’s the difference?

✨ Fresh Look (2.5–3h) — a complete reset.

We start with a clean base and I’ll build your entire look from scratch — skin prep, base, colours, contour, everything. This applies to your second fresh look as well: makeup fully removed, face cleansed, and we begin again.

Hair doesn’t need to be washed, but I’ll take everything down and restyle it entirely.

New vibe. A full transformation.

✨ Style Change (~1h) — more of a refined refresh.

We keep your existing base and I’ll do selective and strategic touch-ups (concealer, blush, lipstick top-up, etc.) while adjusting the overall look.

Hair will be restyled into a different design (if you need), but it’s a quicker switch — not a full redo.

Same base, different mood.

So it really depends on what you need + how much time we have. :)

If you’re going from solemnisation to dinner and want a full shift + you have enough time catered for the session, go fresh. If you just need a vibe change, style change is perfect.

... Read moreChoosing between a Fresh Look and a Style Change for important occasions like weddings or celebrations can feel overwhelming, but understanding their differences helps you select what suits your needs and timing. From my personal experience, a Fresh Look is ideal when you want a complete transformation — starting with a cleansed face, fresh makeup application including contouring, and a fully restyled hairdo. This process typically takes 2.5 to 3 hours, making it perfect if you have enough time between events, like moving from solemnisation to dinner. The full reset not only rejuvenates your appearance but also boosts your confidence, making you feel like a new person. On the other hand, a Style Change works well when you want to keep much of your existing look but desire a refreshed mood or subtle update. It's quicker — roughly an hour—and includes selective touch-ups such as concealer, blush, or lipstick adjustments, along with a different hairstyle design without fully washing hair. This option is great when you’re pressed for time but still want a change to match the new vibe of your event. Remember, planning the right session depends heavily on your event schedule and how dramatic a change you desire. Also, keep in mind the quality of products and techniques used by your makeup artist can significantly impact your final look and comfort throughout the day. Incorporating keywords from the article's visual content such as 'wedding,' 'future brides,' and the contrast between 'Fresh Look' and 'Style Change' can help you explain these options clearly to your stylist or consultant. Whether you lean toward a full makeup redo or just a refined update, being informed ensures you’ll walk away feeling stunning and perfectly styled for your occasion.

The goal isn't more makeup... it's the right makeup.
She sat down and told me this: “I just want to look like myself… but prettier like Wonyoung from IVE.” Not glammed up Not overdone Not like a different person Just… better So we kept everything soft— skin, eyes, hair but added just enough structure so it doesn’t disappear on camera A

What 2025 taught me (as a girl in her 20s)
2025 has been a year of growth and maturity for me. 1. You are not too much. The first lesson came from an incident with a close friend. Everything fell apart out of the blue. It felt like when a friend slowly loses interest in you. I later heard the gist that I was “too much” for him, that I

Biggest mistake fresh grads make with insurance (it’s not what you think)
Most fresh grads think the mistake is “not buying enough insurance.”But that’s not it‼️ The real mistake is this: Treating insurance like something to figure out later and that “later” usually becomes…TOO LATE! 1. “I’ll buy when I earn more” Sounds responsible. But here’s the catch: Premiu
