... Read moreReflecting on past years can often stir mixed emotions. From personal experience, 2011 stands out as a pivotal year full of lessons and unforgettable moments. While we cannot change what has already happened, letting go of the past—much like forgetting old emails—can be a powerful metaphor for moving forward. In modern life, emails can accumulate rapidly, just like memories. Some are necessary and valuable, while others are reminders we'd rather not revisit. Deleting or forgetting those emails symbolizes the process of forgiving ourselves and others, releasing regrets, and making space for new experiences. When I decided to confront my memories from 2011, I realized it wasn't about erasing the past but rather understanding its impact. This approach led me to accept what had happened, learn from mistakes, and focus on present growth. It taught me that while the past shapes us, it doesn't define our future. Using such everyday digital metaphors can help us approach emotional healing in practical ways. Just as we periodically clean our inboxes to stay organized and reduce stress, we can also mentally declutter by consciously letting go of painful or unproductive memories. If you find yourself weighed down by past events, consider reflecting on your 'emotional inbox.' Which memories need revisiting for lessons, and which can be set aside to find peace? This mindset supports mental well-being and empowers us to live more freely in the moment.

Student; Notion or Google Sheets?
📊 If it’s not organized, it’s not getting done. I built a whole system in Notion to track my classes, apps, MCAT, and even my habits… and honestly? It changed everything. Google Sheets helps me plan my week by energy, not guilt. 💡 Use templates to save time 💡 Add emojis for quick scanning 💡 Al
