I want to be chic!!

I used to think success would look like a certain number in my bank account. But the older I get, the more I realize the things I'm proudest of can't really be measured by money.

They're the moments that would've meant everything to the younger version of me. Buying a home after getting kicked out at 19. Being able to take my little brother on trips I could've only dreamed about growing up. Hearing someone tell me they bought their first home or started investing because of a video I made. Having the privilege to stand in front of high school students and teach them something I wish I had learned years earlier. Learning that discipline and rest can exist at the same time. Slowly becoming someone who doesn't have to live in survival mode anymore.

If there's one thing I've learned, it's that wealth isn't just about having more money - it's about having more choices, more peace, and more opportunities to give back. The little girl who grew up worrying about whether we'd have enough would've never imagined this life. And while there's still so much I want to accomplish, I think she'd be pretty proud of how far we've come. 🤍

Read moreFrom my own journey, I've realized that embracing a chic lifestyle isn't about flashy spending or the latest trends—it's about cultivating a life rich in meaningful experiences and choices. Like the author mentions, buying a home after tough beginnings or taking loved ones on trips creates lasting memories far beyond monetary value. One key insight I've gained is that teaching and sharing knowledge, especially financial literacy with younger generations, feels incredibly rewarding. It’s one thing to achieve success, but inspiring others to take control of their finances and futures adds an irreplaceable sense of purpose. Balancing discipline with rest has also reshaped how I view success. The ability to stay consistent in working towards goals while allowing time for rejuvenation creates sustainable growth and inner peace. This harmony prevents burnout—a chic way to live with intention. Paying off debts like student loans and living below means might sound mundane, but it’s a chic move that paves the way to financial freedom and unexpected opportunities. Having choices—whether to invest, give back, or simply enjoy a stress-free moment—is the real wealth. Ultimately, chic living is about freedom—freedom from survival mode, freedom to give, and freedom to be your authentic self. It’s not just what you have, but what you can do with it. This mindset creates a life worth celebrating, no matter where you’ve come from or what your bank account says.
