Breakups can be tough, and it's common to experience a whirlwind of emotions, including jealousy and longing. From personal experience, I've noticed how social media often amplifies these feelings, especially when an ex tries to spark jealousy by appearing with someone new or more attractive. It's natural to feel hurt or frustrated in such moments—recognizing these feelings is the first step to healing. What helped me most was focusing on self-growth rather than dwelling on the past. Engaging in new hobbies, spending time with supportive friends, and focusing on my goals shifted my perspective. Also, understanding that attempts by an ex to incite jealousy say more about their feelings than mine empowered me to maintain emotional control. Remember, everyone's healing timeline is different. Some days are harder than others, but leaning into self-care and positive distractions can significantly help. Staying authentic and 'deadass' about your feelings is okay—don't shy away from honest emotions but balance them with resilience and forward-thinking.
