If a survivor is being chased or has recently been in danger, they might prioritize moving to a safer location over healing. This can make healing attempts feel rejected, but it's often a strategic choice. Another aspect is communication. In public matches without voice chat, healing coordination is challenging. Survivors might not notice your attempt or misunderstand your cues, leading to missed opportunities or refusals. The phrase from the OCR, "GAME OVER TRYING TO HEAL THE TEAMMATE, BUT THEY DON'T WANT IT," perfectly sums up the frustration when your healing attempts lead to a wipeout. To reduce this, consider signaling intentions with patting the shoulder or using perks that encourage cooperative healing, such as 'We'll Make It' or 'Botany Knowledge.' From a personal perspective, focusing on building trust with consistent and timely healing attempts during safe window periods helps teammates become more receptive. Also, learning when to back off and prioritize self-healing or evasion can keep the team alive longer. Ultimately, the deadliest killer isn’t always the enemy but poor survivor coordination. Embrace patience, practice timing, and improve communication through in-game signals or external voice chat to enhance your team’s survival chances and enjoy the game more fully.
