Top Surgery Update
For the uninitiated in my following, or those who come across this video randomly, most insurance companies (if not all) make you produce proof of at least one psychological evaluation before you pursue gender affirming surgeries.
And for anyone unsure of why I would attempt shaving blindly without any assistance.... I get super impulsive for BPD reasons (hence insurance companies requiring psych evals)
Navigating the process of gender affirming surgeries can be complex, especially when it involves the necessary psychological evaluations mandated by most insurance providers. Such evaluations serve to ensure that individuals are making informed decisions about their transition journey. Understanding the criteria and procedures involved can greatly alleviate the anxiety often associated with this process. Moreover, for individuals dealing with conditions such as Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), impulsivity can play a critical role in decision-making. The experience of attempting self-care or alterations without professional assistance may stem from these impulsive tendencies. It's essential for those in similar situations to seek guidance and understand the importance of structured care as they prepare for surgery. Additionally, support from the community, including forums for FTM (female-to-male) transitions, transgender individuals, and nonbinary individuals, can provide vital shared experiences and advice. Engaging with these communities can help individuals feel less isolated and gain valuable insights into the top surgery journey. Always prioritize mental health and consult professionals to ensure a safe and informed transition.
