I'm having a good Sunday
It's mother's day and I'm overly annoyed because of personal reasons but here's a life update: Honestly I can say that therapy has done nothing but good for me. I'm a lot more confident in myself and I'm more assured of what I want to do.
I'm moving soon (not very far at all from where I am now) and finally on track with student loan payments and graduating. BA in Psych is looking more realistically achievable each day.
In fact, the only things that haven't changed are my feelings for the man I love and the urgent need to care for and protect my step daughter. Life is really good
Mother's Day can evoke a range of emotions, especially when mixed with personal challenges. Many individuals find therapeutic support beneficial during such times. Therapy encourages self-growth, aiding in overcoming feelings of frustration. As I navigate life changes, such as moving and pursuing my BA in Psychology, I've seen a significant boost in my confidence and clarity about my goals. This journey can resonate with others who experience struggles during holidays, reminding us all that seeking help can be a stepping stone to a brighter future. Sharing personal victories, like achieving educational milestones and nurturing family relationships, is essential. My devotion as a step-parent and my enduring love drive me. Recognizing one's achievements and progress in life, despite external pressures, is crucial for mental well-being. It's a testament that positive change is possible, no matter the circumstance, and reinforces the idea that love and support are invaluable during trying times.
