Egg Cartons: The Cutest Little Seed Starter🌱
My seed tray was filled up but I have other vegetable seeds that I want to try to plant. And I saw the egg cartons when I putting away the groceries, I knew it’s perfect for seeding.
They need way less soil than my other nursery pots, and it’s the cutest thing ever watching little sprouts peek out of them 🥰
It’s very simple:
Step 1. Put soil
Step 2. Mist the soil. (I put way too much water 😅)
Step 3. Poke little holes in the soil and plant the seeds in the holes. Then cover the seed with soil.
Step 4. Place them in the shade and mist the soil when it’s dry.
Before put the seeds in the soil, I highly recommend to put the seeds on a wet paper towel in a ziplock bag for a few days to help the seed sprout faster.🌱
