Went over my head
From my own journey, I’ve found that constantly chasing likes and followers can feel overwhelming and, as the image says, "goes over my head" in terms of real value. It took some time for me to understand that social media metrics aren't the measure of my self-worth or happiness. In moments when I felt anxious or unsure, I reminded myself to listen to my "inside voice" — the part that knows validation should come from within, not from an app or online feedback. Embracing this mindset helped me find peace in my single life and appreciate my experiences without needing others' approval. If you find yourself trapped in the cycle of seeking external validation, try taking a step back and focusing on what truly makes you happy. Engage more with offline hobbies or communities that uplift you. Celebrate small wins that are meaningful to you personally rather than those that boost your social media stats. Over time, you'll notice a shift where the pressure to perform online lessens, and your confidence in yourself grows stronger. Social media can be fun, but it shouldn’t rule your sense of self. Remember, your real value isn’t quantified by likes or followers — it’s in your unique story and authentic moments that nobody else can replicate.
