Make my husband’s breakfast with me✨
POV: You become a stay-at-home mom and start your mornings at 5am anyway 🤍
Since my daughter is usually up by 5/5:30, I use the quiet morning time to make my husband breakfast and pack his lunch for work.
Every morning he gets:
• 3 fried eggs
• sausage
• a berry smoothie
Lunch is usually leftovers from the night before, which honestly makes packing lunches so much easier 🙌
And of course I can’t forget all the snacks + drinks. 😂
My husband works so hard for our family and makes it possible for me to stay home with our baby girl, and I’ll never stop being grateful for that. 🤍

Starting my day before sunrise has become a meaningful ritual that sets a positive tone for the entire family. As a stay-at-home mom, I cherish these quiet morning moments to prepare breakfast and lunches for my husband, who works hard to provide for us. Making three fried eggs alongside savory sausage and blending a fresh berry smoothie ensures he gets a balanced, energizing start to his day. Packing leftovers from dinner simplifies lunch prep, saving time and reducing food waste—a small but important tactic that helps streamline our busy routine. I’ve found that the consistency of this morning routine not only strengthens my connection to my husband but also supports my role at home. Adding snacks and drinks tailored to his preferences keeps his energy up throughout the workday. This simple act of cooking and packing meals is my way of showing appreciation for his efforts and sacrifices. Plus, being organized with meals helps me manage my own time better, allowing more quality moments with our baby girl throughout the day. For anyone looking to create a similar routine, starting early can make all the difference. It’s peaceful, productive, and fulfills a deeper sense of gratitude and partnership. Tailor the menu to what your family loves and incorporate leftovers smartly to ease lunch packing stress. This approach has truly helped me balance household duties and family care with a sense of love and support that fuels our days.

One little trick if he likes them cooked on both sides or if he just likes the top cooked through is it just pop a lid on it but the steam cook the yolk it keeps you from having to flip them and it saves a little time from having to stand at the pan for all that time, but it also depends on how it is. He’s liking to eat them.
