I recently spend a short few days in park city and it was so much fun. Such a beautiful city in the winter , from the snow covered mountains to the cute little city✨
Here’s some things I recommend and are definitely worth checking out on your next visit 🤍
.
.
❄️ breakfast at Harvest- omg this was such a good breakfast spot!! I will say it does get very busy so be prepared to wait a bit at peak times.
.
❄️ hit the slopes! - there are so many options when it comes to skiing or snow boarding in Park city, but if that’s not your thing just driving and admiring the winter wonderland is soo beautiful🤍
.
❄️ dinner at Chimayo- wow!! This is one of my favorite restaurants that I’ve been to in quite some time everything was so fresh and delicious! The bread alone was AMAZING! Definitely order the mussels 🤍
.
❄️ have an apres ski adventure at the Montage- they have a perfect spot that has amazing drinks, caviar, and a live dj. We ended up here instead of the vintage room and honestly this was the highlight of the trip..soo much fun & the vibes were immaculate!!
.
❄️ enjoy coffee at silver king coffee- had an iced chai here and I loved it! They also offer infused coffees with special ingredients like collagen and lions mane and even some fresh bites to eat!
.
❄️ explore the city at night - the weekends get pretty busy in the city - check out some of the local bars / lounges like no name and spur. The spur also has live music some nights which we got lucky to catch !
.
❄️ go thrifting and shop local! - there are a number of thrift stores and cute boutiques in park city. My number one was the habitat for humanity..I ended up finding the cutest faux fur coat and some treasures✨
... Read moreOh, and if you're wondering about that Veuve Clicquot experience at the Montage, it's truly something special! Imagine sipping bubbly with stunning mountain views, a live DJ setting the mood, and perhaps some caviar to complete the luxury experience. It's not just a drink; it's an entire apres-ski vibe that feels incredibly exclusive yet welcoming. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just soaking in the Park City glam, it's a definite must-do for an unforgettable afternoon.
For those who aren't avid skiers or snowboarders (like me, sometimes!), Park City still offers a winter wonderland of activities. I loved just driving around and taking in the snow-covered scenery, but you could also try snowshoeing on one of the many scenic trails, or even a magical sleigh ride. Main Street itself is perfect for a leisurely stroll, popping into unique art galleries and charming boutiques. There's also ice skating at the outdoor rink, which is super festive and fun for all ages!
While Harvest and Chimayo were absolute standouts, Park City’s culinary scene is incredibly diverse. For a more casual but equally delicious bite, check out some of the local delis or bakeries for lunch. I always look for spots that use fresh, local ingredients, and you'll find plenty here. And don't forget to explore the coffee shops beyond Silver King; each has its own charm and specialty brews perfect for warming up after a day in the cold.
My thrifting adventure was another highlight! Besides Habitat for Humanity, I also heard great things about Restore and The Christian Center for finding those unique pieces. It's amazing what treasures you can unearth – from vintage ski gear to cozy sweaters and quirky home decor. It's a fun way to bring a unique piece of Park City home with you without breaking the bank.
A little tip for getting around: Park City has a fantastic free bus system, which is super convenient, especially if you're planning on enjoying the nightlife without worrying about driving. As for timing, while winter is undeniably magical, don't overlook spring or fall! The mountains are beautiful for hiking and biking, and the town is a bit less crowded, offering a different kind of serene escape. Packing layers is key, no matter the season, as mountain weather can change quickly!
