I’m in the hospital
I feel pathetic for looking for help but if anyone would.. some liquid liner, ivoryface tint, blush and lipgloss or lip balm would be nice. I still have a whole week to stay here and idk what next when I get discharged. And some candy would be nice.

Being in the hospital for an extended period can feel isolating and overwhelming, especially when separated from personal belongings. For those facing similar stays, small comforts like makeup items and candy can significantly lift spirits and help maintain a sense of normalcy. I experienced this firsthand during a week-long hospital stay when I discovered how simple items such as lip balm and a bit of blush could provide a much-needed boost of confidence and self-care. If you or someone you know is staying in the hospital far from home, consider reaching out to local community groups or donation centers. In Winnipeg, certain organizations and social media communities actively support patients by donating Dollar Tree makeup products and other affordable essentials. These contributions not only help meet immediate needs but also create a feeling of connectedness and support. Planning ahead for hospital stays by packing a small kit of favorite self-care items can alleviate some stress. However, for unexpected admissions or travel limitations, relying on local generosity becomes vital. Beyond makeup, having treats like candy can provide comfort and a small taste of joy during difficult times. Ultimately, community kindness and sharing resources play a crucial role in improving the hospital experience. Donating items like liquid liners, face tints, blush, lip products, and sweet snacks can make a meaningful difference for those who find themselves stuck in the hospital away from their usual support system.
