Another one for my mamas
So yesterday I was crazy bloated and K goes mama why does your stomach look pregnant...so first off...does anyone want a kid? And secondly I immediately knew what I was doing today for my workout 🙃 😅
I know core workouts do nothing for bloating but feeling my abs sore give me hope for a flat stomach lmaooo
So yea had to hit this #diastasisrecti workout real quick followed by 30 kins cardio and 10 mins yoga.
You don't need dumbbells for this workout but I used 5 pound ones.
I did 4 sets of 16-20 of everything. One thing I want to mention is make sure your back is not arching while doing these workouts. Your entire back should remain in contact with the floor.
It feels weird at first especially using weight so if you are struggling ditch the weight. Keeping your back on the ground really engages your core during these exercises
Happy Hump Day Ya'll!
Diastasis Recti is a common condition, especially among postpartum women, characterized by the abdominal muscles separating. Engaging in specific workouts can help restore core strength and stability. The following tips can enhance your workout experience: 1. **Warm Up**: Start with a gentle warm-up to prepare your body. Simple stretches can alleviate tension and prevent injuries. 2. **Focus on Form**: Ensuring proper form is crucial. Engage your core throughout each movement and maintain a neutral spine. 3. **Use Modifications**: If any exercise feels too challenging, consider modifying it. For instance, replace weighted exercises with bodyweight alternatives until you gain strength and confidence. 4. **Integrate Breathing**: Breathing techniques can significantly impact your workout efficiency. Practice diaphragmatic breathing to engage your core more effectively. 5. **Consistency is Key**: Aim for consistency in your routine. Regular practice three to four times a week can lead to significant improvements over time. 6. **Cool Down**: Always include a cooldown phase, incorporating yoga stretches to enhance flexibility and assist in muscle recovery. In addition to these tips, exploring online communities dedicated to fitness can provide motivation and support. Social channels such as Instagram often showcase workout routines, success stories, and expert advice on diastasis recti and more.
