I would just like to say if you ever got big..then small...and didn't end up with Pillsbury dough boy arms...you really might be God's favorite 😆 😂
Now for the rest of us peasants...this is our workout 💪🏾 🙃
😆 🤣 😂
Ya'll know I play all day but everyone doesn't get those arm rolls after losing weight but for those that do this workout helps to tone that area. And before anyone says "YoU cAn'T sPoT rEdUcE fAt" yes you are correct however a lot of time this is loose skin from result of weightloss...with a combination of a little fat.
This area is still quite tricky so giving it a little extra attention definitely won't hurt!
Btw this was yesterday's workout so I'm not exactly sure on all the weights but I'm pretty sure 5 and 10 pound dumbbells will be just fine! I did 3 sets of everything and the reps were 10-12.
Really hope this helps someone because I know the frustration of this area!
Happy Hump Day ✌🏾
After experiencing weight fluctuations, many people notice loose skin or a bit of leftover fat around their inner arms, often called "arm rolls." While it's true you can't spot reduce fat, targeted exercises can help tighten and tone the muscles underneath, improving the arm's overall appearance. In this inner arms workout, the use of light dumbbells—typically 5 to 10 pounds—is ideal to safely challenge the muscles without risking injury. Performing 3 sets of 10-12 repetitions of each exercise provides enough stimulus to promote muscle tone and definition. Some effective exercises to include are tricep kickbacks, overhead tricep extensions, and close-grip dumbbell presses. Consistency is key. Doing this workout 2-3 times a week as part of a balanced fitness routine can gradually enhance firmness in the upper arm area. Combining strength training with proper nutrition and overall fat loss through cardio will yield the best results. Many people find that loose skin after weight loss can linger because it’s a combination of skin elasticity and residual fat. While exercise improves muscle tone and can tighten the area to a certain extent, patience is necessary because skin remodeling takes time. Additionally, staying hydrated and maintaining a healthy diet rich in vitamins C and E supports skin health and elasticity. If loose skin remains a concern, consulting with a healthcare professional for options is advised. For those working out at home, this targeted inner arms workout is convenient and effective. No fancy equipment needed beyond a pair of dumbbells and a commitment to your fitness journey. Celebrate small gains along the way—you might not get "Pillsbury dough boy arms," but you’ll achieve stronger, well-defined inner arms that boost confidence and arm functionality. Remember, every body is unique. Focus on progress, not perfection, and enjoy the process of strengthening your arms.
