Watching my son grow from a tiny newborn to a lively 4-month-old has been an incredible experience. Those first few months are bursting with rapid changes—in both size and abilities. For example, my son started at 7 pounds and 20 inches, and now he’s almost 16 pounds and 25 inches tall! This growth isn’t just about numbers; it’s about how he’s becoming more alert, interactive, and curious every day. One thing I learned along the way is how important proper nutrition and regular pediatric checkups are during this early stage. Breastfeeding and formula feeding helped ensure he gained weight steadily, while tummy time sessions boosted his muscle strength and motor skills. Additionally, tracking his milestones—like smiling, cooing, and starting to grasp objects—has been so rewarding. It’s fascinating to see how every baby grows uniquely but following typical developmental patterns helps parents set expectations and celebrate achievements. Sharing these growth stats and experiences reassures me that my son is thriving and encourages me to keep providing a nurturing environment. For parents embarking on this journey, patience and attentiveness are key. Embracing all the small changes builds a foundation for your baby’s healthy future.
