Eat what you want, add what you need
I love this concept of “eat what you want, add what you need”! I’ve been CRAVING Siete tortilla chips lately but I know they aren’t the most balanced and filling snack on their own. Here I paired them with carrot sticks and bell pepper and homemade protein ranch! Recipe for the ranch below:
Homemade Protein Ranch
- 1 cup cottage cheese
- 1 cup Greek yogurt
- 1/2 packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing mix (or more to taste)
- Fairlife skim milk to thin (start with 1/4 cup and thin to your liking)
- Optional: a splash of pickle juice
Blend in a blender or with an immersion blender! Let me know if you try it!
When it comes to healthy snacking, the mantra "eat what you want, add what you need" rings true. Siete grain-free tortilla chips are a tasty option, especially when paired with colorful veggies like carrot sticks and bell peppers. To boost the nutritional value, a homemade protein ranch made with cottage cheese and Greek yogurt provides healthy fats and protein, creating a satisfying dip. Protein-rich snacks are essential for those looking to maintain a balanced diet without sacrificing flavor. This simple ranch recipe can be easily adjusted with spices and additional ingredients to cater to your preferences. Moreover, incorporating healthy fats, like avocado oil used in Siete chips, is crucial for a well-rounded diet. As you enjoy your favorite snacks, think about adding fresh produce or healthy dips to enhance the overall nutrient profile, making your indulgences both enjoyable and beneficial.
