Some of my favorite people and favorite moments from last year🤍

... Read moreIt's so fun looking back at all these amazing memories, and it really gets me thinking about how important it is to cherish every single moment! Seeing my graduation photos from Rowan Delaware Law, surrounded by my best friends, just brings back all the feels. If you're also celebrating milestones like graduation this year, or just want to make the most of your everyday, I've picked up a few tips I wanted to share.
First off, don't underestimate the power of a good photo! Whether it's a candid shot with your favorite people, a fun mirror selfie with your go-to products, or capturing a beautiful scene like that 'WELCOME TO Delaware Law' brochure by the water, photos are like little time capsules. I try to snap pics of not just the big events, but also the small, joyful moments. Like that time we were just hanging out in a room with those cool 'FLOWER MARKET' posters – simple moments, but so much fun. It’s not just about the people, but the atmosphere and feeling of a place. And hey, sometimes it's just a silly face in a mirror, and those are often the best memories! Even mundane details like my 'FLUORIDE ADVANCED MULTI-PROTECTION' mouthwash or my 'SWEET CINNAMON PUMPKIN' hand soap on the counter can trigger a funny memory from that exact day. It’s all part of the story!
Speaking of favorite people, investing in those friendships is everything. My friends made my entire experience at Rowan Delaware Law so much richer. We had so many memorable outings and just supported each other through everything. After graduation, it's easy to drift apart, but I'm making a conscious effort to keep our bonds strong. Regular check-ins, planning fun meetups, or even just sharing funny memes – it all helps. These are the people who lift you up, celebrate your successes, and are there for you when things are tough. Those connections are truly priceless, and I wouldn't trade them for anything.
And for those big milestones like graduation, really lean into the celebration! It’s a huge accomplishment, and you deserve to soak it all in. From decorating your cap (mine read 'What, Like it's HARD?' – a fun nod to Legally Blonde!) to having your loved ones there, these are moments you’ll look back on forever. Don't be afraid to be a little extra; these moments only happen once. I remember being lifted up by one of my friends, just pure joy in front of that grand building. Those spontaneous, joyful reactions are what make memories so vivid.
Finally, think about how you're going to preserve these memories. Beyond just your phone, maybe create a small digital album, or even print out some of your absolute favorites. I love looking through old photos and remembering the stories behind them. It helps me appreciate how far I've come and all the wonderful experiences I've had. I even started a little journal to jot down the fun anecdotes that go with the pictures. It's so fulfilling to have a collection of these precious times. So, here's to making more cherished memories and holding onto the ones we already have! What are some of your favorite ways to remember special moments and keep in touch with your favorite people?
