🤗I Painted one of my friends journal for Mother’s Day! 🖼️🌼

She wanted a Colorful mountain scene with her mother’s favorite Bible verse painted on it. Now, because I don’t do painted journals commercially, I had to get the most neutral, yet fine quality, journal I can find. I ended up finding one at my local Walmart and began the painting process.
I began to color block the base painting and liked the composition of the landscape so much I decided I didn’t want the words on the picture itself. And began finishing the details and color correcting anything that needed to POP or needed to be cast in shadow.
When it came to the lettering… I hated this process… you would think an artist would be good at lettering, but this one is not. So I tried my very best, and went over it multiple times which made the process a little more tedious, but I got it done and it doesn’t look horrible. :)
