In fairness, I grew up going to Sam’s Club so this wasn’t new to us, we just never been to a Costco. TBH, it’s VERY similar so idk what’s the big hype is about? 🤷🏽♀️ But yeah, we will be returning at least 2-3’s a month!
Visiting Costco for the first time can be an eye-opening experience, especially if you are already familiar with similar warehouse clubs like Sam’s Club. From my experience, the overall shopping atmosphere at Costco feels very comparable to Sam’s Club, with large wholesale quantities and wide variety of groceries and household items. However, there are subtle differences that make Costco unique and worth exploring further. One feature I noticed was the layout and product selection, which felt fresh and slightly different from what I was used to. The food court items, like their famous hot dog combo and unique bakery goods such as buns, add a special charm to the shopping experience. Trying their boba drinks and other novelty items can be a fun treat during the visit. Another aspect that stood out during my visit was the helpfulness of staff during checkout; they were efficient and friendly, enhancing the overall welcoming feel of the store. While my phone died midway, limiting my ability to capture everything, the excitement of discovering ‘Costco finds’ encouraged a return visit to fully explore the offerings. For anyone considering making the switch or adding Costco to their regular shopping routine, I recommend visiting a few times to compare prices, membership benefits, and specific product availability. Both Sam’s Club and Costco offer valuable deals, but your personal preferences, such as location convenience and product brands, will likely influence your loyalty. Overall, Costco offers a shopping experience that’s easy to enjoy and matches much of what Sam’s Club provides, with just enough unique elements to keep shoppers like me coming back regularly.
