Visiting Toronto’s new Barbie Café is a truly unique experience that combines vibrant pink aesthetics with fun activities, perfect for families and Barbie fans alike. When I went, I was immediately drawn in by the immersive decor inspired by iconic Malibu life — everything from a life-size Barbie box to retro wave arches created a perfect backdrop for memorable photos. It’s a great reminder that themed cafés like this are not just about food but about the full experience. The Barbie Café’s menu, crafted by MasterChef finalist Becky Brown, offers creative dishes like Pacific Paradise Pancakes and West Coast Wave Salad, which not only taste delicious but tie into the playful theme. While the $10 food credit includes only food (not drinks or ice cream floats), it’s enough to sample some of the café’s signature dishes. I recommend trying one of the themed drinks anyway — they make perfect complements to the fun atmosphere. A highlight is the opportunity to add roller skating to your visit. The exclusive Impala x Barbie roller rink inside the café adds an exciting layer and makes the outing more active, although it requires an extra ticket. Skate nights and other special events like cupcake decorating or paint nights make the pop-up dynamic and great for repeat visits. For those coming with kids, the café is welcoming and carefully arranged with children under two free with adult accompaniment, which makes for an easy family outing. Don’t forget to dress in your best pink outfit to blend into the aesthetic and get the best photos! Lastly, the exclusive Barbie merchandise shop is a fun element for collectors or casual fans to bring home a piece of this experience. Overall, this pop-up offers a fantastic blend of dining, entertainment, and Instagram-worthy moments that I highly recommend for locals and tourists in Toronto from August through November 2026.
