Our first time at EPIC UNIVERSE! 🌎✨
This was Day 2 of our @Universal Orlando Resort trip and we spent the entire day exploring all FIVE worlds at Epic Universe!
🎮 SUPER NINTENDO WORLD Our first mistake was heading here right at park opening because it felt like EVERYONE had the same idea. We came back later and rode Yoshi’s Adventure, Mine-Cart Madness and Mario Kart, just be prepared for some LONG waits!
🪄 THE WIZARDING WORLD OF HARRY POTTER MINISTRY OF MAGIC Probably the world that impressed me most when we first walked in. The Paris theming is INSANE. We also got incredibly lucky with the single-rider line for Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry ride. Around a 100-minute posted wait turned into roughly 15 minutes for us!
🌌 CELESTIAL PARK STARDUST RACERS!!! 🎢 Easily one of my favourite rides of the entire trip. We came back and rode it multiple times throughout the day.
🐉 HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON ISLE OF BERK Unfortunately, several rides were down when we visited earlier in the day, but the world itself was so cute and definitely one I wish we had spent more time in!
🧛 DARK UNIVERSE One of my FAVOURITE worlds and such a good way to end the day. The theming, rides, food and drinks were all 👌🏼 And do yourself a favour and try the Burning Cheddar Bites!
A few things I wish we knew before visiting:
✨ Don’t automatically start at Super Nintendo World just because it’s closest to the entrance. ✨ Single rider can save you A LOT of time… but it can also completely backfire. 😂 ✨ Expect some seriously long wait times for the Nintendo rides. ✨ Ride Stardust Racers more than once… trust me. ✨ DON’T leave early! Stay until the end of the night for the water, light & fireworks show. 🎆
And if you’re planning Universal Orlando from Canada 🇨🇦, we bought a 2-day multi-park ticket and did Universal Studios + Islands of Adventure on Day 1 and Epic Universe on Day 2!
I’m also putting together a whole video about everything we ATE & DRANK at Universal!
SAVE this for your Epic Universe trip & drop any questions you have below! 👇🏼

Visiting Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort offers a vibrant mix of immersive worlds well worth exploring fully. One tip I learned from personal experience is to plan your day around anticipated crowd flows. While many rush to Super Nintendo World first thing, it might be smarter to start elsewhere and return later when lines thin out. Single rider lines can save valuable time, though they don't always work out, so flexibility is key. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, particularly the Ministry of Magic section, stunned me with its Parisian theming details and the cool chance to hop on the single-rider line for a much shorter wait. If you’re a fan of themed experiences, this area is a must-see. Celestial Park's Stardust Racers is a gem and definitely worth replaying multiple times in a day—its combination of fun and unique ride mechanics makes it a personal favorite. Though some rides in How to Train Your Dragon Isle of Berk were temporarily closed during my trip, the charm of the area invites more time next visit. Dark Universe closed out my day perfectly with its atmospheric vibe, excellent rides, and delicious treats like the Burning Cheddar Bites. Don't miss the spectacular water, light, and fireworks show at night—it's a memorable way to end your day. If you’re traveling from Canada or planning multiple park days, consider multi-park tickets to experience Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure along with Epic Universe effectively. Lastly, exploring different food and drink options enhanced the whole trip for me. I’m curating a video about what to eat and drink around the parks, which should help fellow travelers decide on tasty stops during their adventures. Overall, pacing yourself, embracing lesser-known attractions, and staying until park close made my Epic Universe experience truly unforgettable.
