How to thrift like a PRO 🛍️
I don’t thrift like everyone else 👀
Most people walk into the thrift store with no plan and leave with a bag of things they never actually wear.
Here’s how I thrift step by step so my closet stays intentional, wearable, and worth every dollar:
★ Know the vibe before you go
Have an inspo board ready. Decide if you’re looking for baggy or fitted, comfort or structure, dark palette or light.
★ Start in the men’s section
Best place for oversized or low-rise jeans and jackets. Prices are usually better too. I go pants first, then tops.
★ Hunt accessories like treasure
Check jars, bottom bins, random bracelets under ten others. The good stuff is rarely in plain sight.
★ Edit your haul on an empty rack
Lay everything out and ask yourself if it fits the vibe, if it’s practical, and if you’ll actually wear it.
★ Clean everything
Wash clothes. Sanitize accessories. Even if the store says items are clean, stay safe.
Save this for your next thrift trip and send it to a friend who swears there’s nothing good at the thrift store. 📌
@kenniectrl if you’re ready to thrift with intention.
