The car alarm let me finish my thought 🤔💭 But seriously, choosing hatred, negativity. jealousy without exploring WHY you're feeling that way, is low vibration behaviour. don't be a bottom feeder.
It’s so easy nowadays to get caught up in negative emotions when scrolling social media or interacting with others. I used to find myself watching content that annoyed me and even leaving negative comments, only to realize later it drained my energy and worsened my mood. This tendency, sometimes called "hate watching," is often rooted in insecurities we aren’t fully aware of. When you feel compelled to scrutinize or criticize others repeatedly, it’s worth exploring what is really bothering you. Maybe it’s jealousy, fear, or a sense of inadequacy. Recognizing this can be the first step in breaking the cycle and embracing higher vibration behavior—choosing kindness, understanding, and personal growth instead. Blocking or unfollowing toxic content or people can be incredibly freeing. Healthy individuals don’t obsess over content they dislike—they choose peace by not engaging. This practice helps protect your mental health and focus your energy where it matters. From my experience, once I started focusing on healing and self-work, I felt less triggered by negativity around me. I stopped being a "bottom feeder" by not feeding off others’ energy or comparing myself unnecessarily. It takes effort to shift this mindset, but the positive impact on your emotional well-being and relationships is undeniable. So on a day like today, almost summer, I encourage anyone feeling stuck in hateful or jealous patterns to pause and ask themselves: What about this person or situation is truly bothering me? Then, channel that insight into healing yourself. It’s a powerful way to uplift your spirit and create more peace not just for yourself, but in your wider community.
